Modal is very soft to touch and in the Rayon family of fibers.  It is a semi-organic fiber made from Beech Trees. Since it is a type of Rayon, this fabric has excellent weight and drape. 

Wash with like colors in cool temperature.  Tumble dry.  Steam is ideal for daily maintenance but it can be ironed on low setting with caution.
