Some of My Favorite Capsule Looks This Spring

I’ve been spending so much time this year expanding on my first concept for The Tiny Closet. “The Capsule” that I haven’t put out as many new designs or limited seasonal pieces as previous years. Instead of feeling the disappointment from my amazing loyal shoppers though, I instead got such positive feedback and support on my endeavors that most of my Capsule pieces are best sellers! Thanks to those who have shopped this special collection, I am able to continue expanding it to make it a truly bonafide capsule wardrobe for all.

I also receive a lot of photos from happy Capsule shoppers showing a plethora of ways to wear these pieces. It makes me realize that I’m long overdue for a style feature of my own! Not that it looks like y’all need more ideas but… I wanna play too! So I made a blog post on some of the Capsule pieces I’m living in this Spring and how I’m styling them with other fun basics from my closet. Take a look!

So The Tourist Range was one of my latest additions to The Capsule. I find I’ve been wearing the dress and top from this range daily.

The Tourist Dress is a favorite everyday dress for me. Actually, I randomly cut the hem on this one and frayed it but it’s perfect with practically any jacket, especially a denim one, which we all tend to have. I also, though rarely wear hats with this range. And some Southwestern booties or mules!

We also tend to have a pair of khakis or linen pants or cotton slacks lying around. The Tourist Top has been working great with this type of common basic bottom. It’s like a tee but a nicer woven version.

I adore this top in bone, and the drape? Hunnnny. It’s like water. It’s gorgeous and I wish I could take all the credit - even though I designed it, the fabric is what makes it amazing. And my go-to bottoms for these is of course any pair of denim or fun seasonal khaki.

But speaking of tees, I love my tee range!! And I’ve been wearing The Work Tee like crazy. Since it’s a tee, I can truly wear it with anything casual - plus, because of its incredible drape, it never looks scrubby or frumpy with higher end looks.

I’ve recently started wearing The Work Tee with The Lounger Midi Pant. I only own this pant in navy even though it’s still available in the limited dark copper!! But since the weather’s been consistently warmer, I’ve been pulling them out and topping them with only my tees.

One big piece I’ve been wearing for a long time is The Editor Open Coat… It’s my favorite design - maybe because it took the longest time to release and over a dozen fittings. Oy! But it looks fabulous on EVERYONE!

I throw it on and go all the time. And I do live in L.A. so this coat really can travel through the seasons but I wore it over a couple layers during the Winter in Washington and I did quite well. I also love wearing the mossy olive green for Spring :)

Anyway, that’s what I’ve been living in this season. It’s funny, I’m such a minimalist with a very paired down wardrobe but oddly enough I do go through phases with my favorites. I’m excited for some upcoming Summer stylings with some new releases coming!

So I hope you enjoyed this feature and stay tuned for more!
